Who? Me? I’m Vic. Bob Dylan and John Lennon are my idols. Selected all-time faves are the following: the Eraserheads, the Smiths, the Beatles, the Velvet Underground, Wilco, Oasis, Neutral Milk Hotel, Belle & Sebastian, and other cool stuff best described as awesome.
I like writing songs. Case in point: I’m getting older. You’re getting older too, right? You might be able to relate, man. About growing up: your friends aren’t from your hometown anymore, your best friend ended up marrying an asshole. The happier parts: an unplanned reunion in your old high school, soul searching in Hong Kong. Not so serious stuff: disgust with pop music, and nagging about a vain girl, then falling for her anyway.
